Classes and Individuals can be assigned named properties and be brought into a graph structure using named relation types. This rather theoretical and abstract definition of an Ontology Database does not reveal how useful such databases are for data modeling by groups of users from different departments. There are only few Ontology Database systems on the market, both commercial and open.
